Pastor Hamilton Sims

Pastor Hamilton Sims is a native of Decatur, Georgia. He is the son of Pastors Bobby and Pauline Sims, Sr., the grandson of Mr. Luther and Mrs. Arris Hamilton and the Late Rev. E. D. and Myrtis Sims who labored here at Shiloh, as Pastor for 35 years. He is the brother of Pastor Bobby, Jr., Arrisia and Kelly Sims also of Decatur.

He was educated by the Dekalb County School System and is a 2005 graduate of Tucker High School. Minister Sims is also a 2010 graduate of Newberry College where he majored in Leisure Services and Sports Management. He is a certified Personal trainer working professional and young athletes.

Pastor Sims has been preaching from a very young age and was officially licensed in March, 2008 at the Anointed Body of Christ Church, Porterdale, GA. He is called to preach the Gospel at every opportunity, to exercise the gift of healing and deliverance and set the captives free. At present, Minister Sims is serving in ministry with his parents at Anointed Body of Christ as the youth pastor and minister of music. He has a burden to reach the lost for Christ especially the youth of this generation.

He has traveled the east coast preaching and playing music for Ann Nesby, American Idol contestant Jeffrey Lampkin, and the Hillary Clinton campaign in Charlotte, NC. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

Often referred to as one who tells it like it is he lives strongly by Philippians 4:13 and Philippians 3:14. His motto is “Lets not just Go through life, but Grow through life.”
